Garden #5 - 2009

The Vegetable Garden

This planter was amazing! (I have detailed pics for another post...)  I heard it was from Italy, then I heard it was from France.  Either way, I would love to try and create something similar.

This was a nice surprise, and looked awesome!

Hmmmm, delicious pots

This tree is an orange-lemon-lime hybrid.  They bring it in during winter and leave it out in summer.

Ah!  Yes, that is another Black Dahlia.  Two on one blog.  How lucky and we get!

Garden #4 - 2009

Garden #4 just has a few pics.  It was pouring rain.  It was raining sheep and lions.  Really.
This garden belongs to some california transplants.  They loved roses.  20 of them were brought from their garden back home, and they have added thirty more.  All of the roses were aromatic, and it did smell heavenly.

I LOVE ELFIN THYME.

This was the most wonderful smell in the garden.  It had a clear, citric smell.  Adored.

Told you it was quick.

Garden #3 - 2009

This garden was actually the home of a friend of mine from high school!  I was excited to see it on the list, and really enjoyed the sitting areas.  Apparently, while the wife was out of town for a week soon after the family moved into the house the husband had a full blown sports court put into the entire backyard.  So, once all the kids grew up and out the wife took that thing out and set up this garden!  Hope you enjoy.

I loved, loved, loved these flowers.

Cool potting shed.  Personality, and tucked away just enough.

I am not one for "propping" up the entire garden, but those tall window pains are really great.  They give a mirror effect, yet aren't too obvious.

Knowing me, there would be more pots, and brighter colours here...

...like these!

The next few coming up in a different city, and have some very interesting things!  I'll get those on so you can just cruise on through.
