She IS beautiful. Do you have any masculine flowers?
Most of my flowers are female... i find I refer to many of my houseplants as male. And it not for their real sex... just things that flower, i tend to refer to as she. Go figure.
Gerberas were made popular by Vitasackville-west in 1937 in a small book called some flowers. called the Transvaal daisy or gerbera jamesonii it was seen at a flower show. Has no sent but has many colours. Sold without foliage and is very popular but sold as a house plant as yours is.We use many in the shop, this week being mothering Sunday we have about 250 lots of pink ones. Vicki
