The Most Unexpected Thing To Ever Happen To Me In My Garden Thus Far

I came home today excited.  A small garden fountain that I've been eyeing for the last year was put on clearance and then put on 50% off!  I hauled my treasures home, and then noticed that a few of my flowers were drooping.  Grabbing my watering can I began to water this and that.   I heard a strange noise behind me, but figured it to be from all the soccer games going on at the park on the other side of the back fence.  But the noise didn't stop.  I turned around to find myself face to face with a large, pure white, goat.  And he was bleating.

My landlord was doing some welding at the other end of the yard; I called his name but couldn't be heard.  Where in the world did this goat come from?  I mean, really.  It's not every day you find a goat in your back yard.  I looked inside for the camera, but couldn't see it.  Just then my landlord glanced over and I said, "Um, Help?" He seemed quite taken with me, and wanted to cuddle.  It was really getting funny until he started poking about my plants and eating on of them.  I picked up the jug and yelled, "That's my Creeping Jenny!"  He then tried to move on to other things, Snapdragons, Hydrangea, my Poppy.

"Just hit him!"  Sean yelled, walking over to me.  I just forced him away until Sean tied him up with a rope.

"The neighbors are out of town and he keeps getting out. I can't figure out how."  Our neighbors have a goat?  Who knew.

Well, at least for now my plants are safe, but I am planning on keeping my eye out that window.

Now he has a taste for your flowers, he'll turn into a monster. Sort of like how you shouldn't give hamsters the taste of human flesh, or something like that...

Have you thought that maybe he was a prince in disguise? I think more likely he was trying to do what all goats try to do - all the time - try everything to see if it is edible.
