Do You Know This Plant?

Anyone know what kind of flower this is?

I had a few minutes at work the other day, and decided to do an elementary garden tour (to be posted in a few minutes).   I was surprised at the variety I found, seeing as how public grade schools don't usually boast of floral diversity.  I did come across this small flower tucked under some roses.  Isn't she pretty?

I can't really say what it is from here. I think I've eaten all the malt loaf now but when I get some more I will take a picture of it for you. Bob.

Hi Red Clover, I found your blog through my friend Bob. What a lovely blog you have. You're doing better than I have when I first started gardening after I got married. I had some roses and my then husband ran them over! If you ever grow gardenias put an old tin can in the soil beside them. They need lots of iron. I'm from New Zealand by the way. So HI!!
